This is the second issue of Shades Magazine from Toronto. The issue starts off with a news column called "Mythtakes". there is loads of New Wave coverage of bands like local bands like Drastic solutions and then more internationally like the Tubes and Elvis Costello, and nick Lowe. There is extensive coverage on the Toronto punk scene from an analysis of the Viletones to a four page spread on the Curse to briefs on the Existers and the B-Girls. And there are more in depth articles with the Jam, the Runaways, the Criminals. And tehre is loads of fun stuff like the photos of Martha Johnson of Martha and the Muffins, as a kid.
