A 1922 novel by Ruth Comfort Mitchell, perhaps best known for her novel “Of Human Kindness”, the author of numerous novels, poems, short stories, and one-act plays. “Jane Journeys On” tells a story of attractive young woman, who, follow her dream, leaves home and goes to New York to pursue a writing career.
Ruth Comfort Mitchell published her first poem at the age of 14 in the Los Gatos Mail newspaper, thus launching her literary career, which continued throughout her lifetime.
