It was hot, sticky, burning red sun, just a typical hot tropical day, maybe just a touch bit warmer. It was one of those day for me, not much different then any other tropical days. So like a normal person that’s trusty and hot, I need it a drink. Driving in this kind of weather without air-condition it didn’t help me at all. So I stop for a cold one, at the first place I saw. From the outside the place those not look bad at all. It was well kept, from the building to the park lot. As I walked into the cafe, the lights were down low, the music was playing soft and mellow it was very relaxed. As I looked around the place, not a big crowd about half of dozen or so, in the hold place or“ joint“. That’s when I saw her, dirty blond hair, about 5’6”a 120 lbs. Just The way I like it. I couldn’t really see her eye,” the color of her eyes” that is. But as I started to walk closer to her, I noticed she was checking me out. “By the way,” she was checking me out, it was telling me; it was going to be o.k. Or something of a kind. By-the-way I had cowboy boots on, so I could look a touch bit taller, A pair of blue Jeans and a plain shirt. Every step I took the more of her I see, and the more I see the better she got. Let’s not forget I did not say the more I drink the better she got! I got about 3' to 4' feet from her and then I took a seat at the bar. I asked the Bartender to pour me a nice cold cocktail. While the bartender is getting my drink. I felt her eye a pond me. I asked, myself should I turn around and look at her? That’s when the Bartender ask, if I like anything else? no thank, not at this time, I said. We spoke a few words about how it was warmer, then the normal day and so fort and so fort. That’s when I turned and then I saw it, they were blue— Beautiful navy blue eyes. Not just any navy blue no, no, no. But the kind, which we see in paradise, that’s right paradise all around her eyes and I could see myself in it. I said hello my name is vas. Please to meet you, my name is invinn, she said. What a sexy voice she has, like a voice in the wind, that keep’s us Company while we walk and enjoy the fresh breeze. And let me tell you, I would love to enjoy that air, that for sure. I said, that’s different, how did you acquire that Name? A Portuguese sailor, give to my mom many Years before I was born. And please don’t, ask me what it means cause, I’m not really sure. I always had a problem starting a conversation with someone. like what to say ,what not to say. But thank god, she pick it right up and start the conversation! She asked, do you come here a often. No this is my first time in here, this weather got me hot and trusty. And I need it something to cool me down, I said. I could tell that she was a wonderful person. I’m a pretty good judge of character. we spoke for about an hour or so. We had a few laughs we talked like we where old friends. I hate to say this, she said but I have to be going now, it's been fun. I really didn’t want her to leave. I enjoy her company and our pleasant conversation: I needed to get her phone number, to see her again. I had to come up with something!! so I asked,” Which way are you going?” Cause I have my car at the shop, about two to three miles downs the road. Know, if you can drop me off, I would be so thankful. She looked at me and said O.K. That’s no a problem or trouble. We got into her car, it was red with a gold strip suv. I said, did you just had your cleaned. It had the fragrance aroma of a summer breeze. No I didn’t? it has been few weeks since, I done it, she said. While she drove, we spoke some more. Nothing had change, the conversation was still so delightful and her smile my god “ah, ah, ah“ brighter the sun it self. I like to give you my number maybe we can go out some time, I said. maybe a movie, dinner who knows maybe both anything you like, it will be fine by me, I said. That sounds Nice, she said and I’ll give you my number, feel free to call me at anytime. When she said any time, it made me feel simple marvelous, fabulous, you name it, I felt it!!! We exchanged numbers and I said there’s the place, come up here at the right. She pull over and stop. We looked at each other for a while and smiled. I was dying to give her a kiss, but it wasn’t the right time. So I put out my hand and said thank you. She grabbed my hand and said, it was very nice meeting you. The pleasure was all mine, I said. while I gave, her a tender loving kiss in her hand. I said thank you and I got out and waive good by. I waited until she left and then I started to walk back to my car. Three miles back to the café, because that’s where my car was at. That is what a man does; too get to know a pretty lady or a girl. “Will we ever be appreciative for?” I don’t know! it took us ten minute to get there; it took me forty-five minute to get back.
