Henry Rider Haggard in his novel “Montezuma’s daughter” reproduces the spirit of Aztec Indians. Confining to the style of the novel, he introduces, so simply and captivatingly, the way of life and the history of these people. One can feel sympathy, disgust and respect for Aztecs throughout the narration. An exciting reading, which keeps the reader in suspense till the last page.
