Although the book In Tibet and Chinese Turkestan Being the Record of Three Years Exploration was published for the first time in 1901, it does not seem to be old-fashioned as it gives readers an idea of what the life in Tibet and Chinese Turkestan was at that period of time. The book includes impressions from the trip made by the author of this account of adventures Henry Deasy. The story is well structured and very expressive and would appeal to anyone interested in the history of this part of the world or who wants to compare the modern life there witht the life of the beginning of the 20th century.
