This volume appears a work by an Icelandic historian, poet, and politician. Snorri Sturluson (1179 –1241). He is known mostly by his “Younger Edda,” a peculiar guide of the mythological tradition for poets. This book includes narrations about two kings of Norway - Olaf Tryggvason (995 to 1000) and Harald Sigurdsson, later given the epithet Hardrada (1047 – 1066).
