"The Plan of the Ages," by Charles Taze Russell. Volume 1 of Millennial Dawn. First published in 1886 by the Watch Tower Society. The series was later re-titled Studies in the Scriptures. The pyramid chart in the flyleaf of the book explains Russell's theology of salvation. In the preface, Russell acknowledges the assistance of his wife in writing the volume. Russell was succeeded by J.F. Rutherford, who later renamed the group Jehovah's Witnesses.
