Dr. Limusishiden is from rural Tughuan Mongghul Village, Huzhu Mongghul (Tu) Autonomous County, Haidong District, Qinghai Province, PR China. After graduating from Qinghai Medical College in 1993, he has worked at Qinghai University Affiliated Medical College. Annually, he is visited by many Huzhu Mongghul who seek his assistance in obtaining medical treatment for a variety of illnesses. This situation, plus Dr. Limusishiden's own intimate awareness of health issues in rural Mongghul areas, led him to realize that teaching basic medical knowledge to Mongghul is urgent.
