Title within ornamental border Zedner and Roest ascribe the book to Isaac b. Abraham Hayyim Jesurun; Steinschneider names Samuel Aboab as author of the book. Investigations by Zunz, summed up by Wiener, establish Aboab as author and Jesurun as editor, but leave place and date of publication uncertain (somewhere between 1631 and 1651) cf.
