“Rainbow Valley” is the seventh book of the story, which began in “Anne of Green Gables” by Lucy Montgomery, a Canadian author of 20th century.
Here, a family of a widowed priest settles down in the Blythe’s neighbourhood. The father lives taken up by the thoughts and meditations of God, while his inventive, restless little offsprings are left to their own devices. Nevertheless one can hardly imagine the more loving and attentive family. Together with Ann’s children, they get into a pretty mess.
