Optimal Probabilistic Search
The article deals with research on optimal search of motionless object,
exact position of which is unknown, but its distribution function in n-
dimensional space is known. A simple requirement for optimal trajectory
is received. Explicit dierential equation of optimal trajectory is constructed
in the case of searching in strongly convex sets. Also the theorem of
existence of optimal search is proved in the last section.
