Olaf the Glorious
A British author Robert Leighton (1859-1934) has collected various Icelandic sagas telling of life, since childhood to death, and career of a King of Norway Olaf Tryggvason, to cast light to the events that took place several centuries ago. “Olaf the Glorious: A Story of the Viking Age” tells of the battles, wanderings as a Viking, conversion to Christianity, and other incidents of a life of this outstanding person of 10th-11th centuries, who played an important part in the conversion of the Vikings to Christianity.
