"Edition limited to 250 copies of which ten are on Kelmscott paper. This copy is number 5." The original Spanish text is lost. An Italian translation by G. B. Ramusio was published in his "Terzo volvme delle navigationi et viaggi ... Venetia, 1556." It was translated from the Italian into Spanish by Joaquin Garcâia Icazbalceta, and published in his "Coleccion de documentos para la historia de Mexico," v.1, Mexico, 1858.
