Editor's name appears on t.-p. of v. 1 only Vols. 2-5 contain biographical sketches Accompanied by Deluxe supplement, 2 v., 1918-19. Biographies in the supplements are duplicated in the regular edition "Three volumes called volume 4 pub. in 1919. The one with 688 p. is the true v.4. Letter from the publisher indicates that the 819 p. volume, with contents entirely different from the 688 p. volume, should be called v.5.
