Gone
Gone is an intense story that has a lot of predictable elements of dystopian fiction but what keeps it exciting are those few aspects that are unexpected. You know you’re reading a fun book, when you can predict some of the chaos and mayhem, but you can’t pull your eyes away because you have to know what happens. The intensity just gets ramped up as the story goes on. You think the story can’t have any more weird surprises and then another pops out and bites a hero on the heel.
