This book is considered as one of the most interesting books for children. This starts before Dorothy moves to Oz. Still back in Kansas Dorothy is remembering the Oz when suddenly she starts feeling faint. The girl finds herself in Oz. After the girl reunited with her lovely old friends the Cowardly Lion, the Scarecrow, and the Tin Woodman, Dorothy soon gets known of another Wicked Witch, the Wicked Witch of the Deep South, who spends the major part of her time in a wonderful place called Negative thoughtland where evil and cruel thoughts take visible physical form. Four friends try to stop the evil Witch from bringing to these evil forms. They want to bring back the beauty, kindness and happiness. During the story heroes meet various residents of Oz such as the Fuzzy Yellow Woggle Bugs, and several strange creatures with names like Tickle monsters, Girrephalumps, and Octapong. Another chapter tells about very important meeting with an advanced UFO civilization. They speak with great wisdom, and therefore this part of the book might seem quite difficult for children, so they can skip it. There is a number of other amazing characters, including Gayelette, who we first met in ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’. Very open-minded conversations make reading really fascinating. The book even contains several delightful songs. A warning to adults who might accidentally read this book: at the end of the story Dorothy meets mysterious. He doesn’t say his name, but it’s easy to understand who he is. He tells us that we didn't quite get the story of his life and mission quite right. Someone can be shocked, but for others it may be a revelation. This is not an average Oz book, and it is definitely worth reading.
