Ory, Une restitution bibliographique pour servir à l'histoire de l'imprimerie mussipontaine (Pont-à-Mousson, 1878), p. 32-34 and post-script at end. Jean Appier Hanzelet of Pont-à-Mousson is also identified as the printer and engraver in his article in Allgemeines Künstlerlexikon, which also confirms Pont-à-Mousson as the place and 1627 as the date. (Brunet and BN mistakenly attribute work to Abraham Fabert as publisher, Metz, ca. 1624) 22 engravings and etchings include t.p. and 11 in-text ill. The [14] leaves of plates comprise 4 double-page plates, bound in at centerfold, and 6 single leaves. by Jean Appier Hanzelet after Didier Baron Signatures: ã A-L Brunet BN Binding: mottled sheepskin, tooled in gilt. Stamped in gilt on both boards are arms identified in pencilled note on front free endpaper as those of Henri de Bourbon (1601-1682), natural son of Henri IV, marquis de Verneuil, bishop of Metz and brother of Gabrielle Angélique de Bourbon, duchesse de la Vallette, the subject of the present work.
