California Coastline Preservation and Recreation Plan
From the Director's transmittal letter: "The purpose of this plan is to assist the Department of Parks and Recreation and other agencies in determining future preservation and recreation needs along the coast of California. ... the recommendations in this report ... represent the Department's views on the coastal activities and developments undertaken by most public and private agencies that will in some way enhance or detract from the natural beauty, ecological stability and recreation potential of this magnificent natural resource."
