Arabic New Testament 1867 Van Dyck Original - COMPLETE EDITION
Now available in a one-stop-shop edition: the Complete New Testament
in Arabic (Arabic Script) in One Download. Editiion (original FIRST Edition, from which all other Arabic Versions derive).
This is the digital version of the New Testament (Injil) Translated by Cornelius Van Allen Van Dyck, M.D. (1819-1895), who dedicated himself to helping the Arabic speaking people in the middle east. This text is in Arabic script. As stated elsewhere, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arabic_bible , this translation was based on the same Textus Receptus as the King James Version ( as with the original editions of the Geneva Bible, the 1602 Reina Valera Spanish version, the Almeida Portuguese edition, the Italian Diodati Edition, etc) of the Bible, and follows a more literal style of translation.
There are electronic copies which claim to be identical to this, but some of those electronic versions need much to be desired, with their own origins rather uncertain.
This is the digital version of the page by page scan of the 1867 edition of Van Dyke, so readers can evaluate the text for themselves. There is also a 1869 edition in Arabic by Van Dyke that includes the Old Testament.
Yours for the taking.
