Afghan MP, Malalai Joya has been called the bravest woman in Afghanistan for publicly denouncing those she considers war criminals, standing up for womens' rights and campaigning on behalf of rape victims. Malalai Joya's work has been widely honoured abroad, but back the outspoken MP has faced suspension, hostility, and even death threats.
Today she's in London to receive the prestigious Anna Politkovskaya award - given to courageous women who've defended human rights.
