A commentary on the Holy Scriptures critical, doctrinal, and homiletical
with special reference to ministers and students ; translated from the German of John P. Lange and other 19th century German Protestant scholars, and translated into English edited with additions by Philip Schaff and other English and American Protestant scholars of the 19th and 20th centuries. This is the complete set, 13 double volumes of the 26, which originally came out in series over sevral years as more volumes. My earlier submission of 26 volumes is here corrected; the German pdf volume is replaced by a Google copy of the English (I scanned a copy to supply the need but my scans were imperfect in a few pages, Google's was bette), also thevol. on the Gospel of Mark is suppled from a Google copy, archived under an improper title and hidden in the Gospel of Matthew vol.1 part 3. mjm,2010.
