The Great Round World and What is Going on in it, was a popular weekly magazine for boys and girls. Published in New York City by William Beverley Harison, later the Great Round World Publishing Co., the first issue appeared in 1896, and it ceased publication in 1903. It reported on current events, particularly war events and news and featured contributions by many popular authors of the day.
