Text of Rutherford Troy Debate. Debate between J.F. Rutherford and John H. Troy, held in 1915. At the time, Rutherford was legal counsel for Charles Taze Russell, president of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. (Rutherford later named the movement Jehovah's Witnesses.) Troy was a Baptist minister.
