Interview with Raymond Franz as published in the April 23, 1988 Phoenix Gazette, entitled "Family, friends shun former Jehovah's Witness." Raymond Franz (1922-2010) was a member of the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses from 1971 to 1980. He wrote the books Crisis of Conscience and In Search of Christian Freedom to explain his departure from the Jehovah's Witnesses.
