Potential funding mechanisms for implementation of remedial action plans and their impact on users, beneficiaries, polluters and society
"November 1992" "PIBS 2138" Under the Canada-Ontario Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement, Remedial Action Plans are required for identifying, controlling and abating sources of aquatic pollution for 17 areas of concern on the Canadian side of the Great Lakes. Cost estimates include costs related to sewage treatment plants, industrial and agricultural sources of pollution, urban runoff, sediments and habitat restoration. Costs will need to be updated, depending on the selection of priority remedial actions
